There are even locations throughout the park where you can purchase the Fast Lane bands, should you decide after you've been there for a while. We went there on July 4th and they were still selling the Fast Lane bands in the early evening. I'm not sure if they ever did run out that day, but I was a little surprised with it being a holiday and free admission for military that they hadn't sold out by that point. I would definitely wait until you get there and check out the lines to make a determination on whether or not you want the bands. Personally, I think it's only really worth it if you get the more expensive Fast Lane Plus as those extra rides are the ones with the really long lines, particularly Steel Vengeance, Maverick, and Valravn. Even with the Fast Lane Plus, Steel Vengeance was a 45+ min wait when we went, 3hr+ without. The majority of the other rides were less than a 15 min standby wait most of the day. Also, I STRONGLY suggest not going on Raptor first thing when you get to the park. I always mess that up since it's one of my favorite rides and it's so close to the entrance. Everyone seems to go on that first thing in the morning and the lines are much longer than later in the day.
