Just back from Cedar Point on a hot/sunny summer Sunday. I've only done WDW in late winter off-season. In a few years, i'll likely be doing WDW only during summers & i'm wondering what to expect concerning crowds.

Are Cedar Point summer crowds generally comparable to Disney summer crowds (NOT over July 4th or Star Wars weekends) ??

The kids like Cedar Point but it made my Disney withdrawl worse!

Just out of curiosity...how were the CP crowds? What day of the week were you there? What were the wait times like for MF and TTD?

We were there Sunday. Pretty big crowds steady throughout day 11-7pm--sometimes hard to maneuver through narrow pathways. A good amount of people coming in at 5pm for twilight tickerts.

We don't do the big rides yet--kids are still young. Mine Ride was about 15 minutes. Blue Streak was about 20 minutes.

I heard people sayting TopThrill Dragster was about hour and 1/2 wait.

There changed the Peanuts Playground into another ride area--so now there are 3 little kids ride areas: Kiddie Kingdom, Camp Snoopy, & Planet Snoopy.

We love CP. We go every year in early June and we spend a day driving around in the golf carts on Put-in-Bay island and hitting the winery there...ahhhh.

Not the same as Disney but great thrill rides and a nice 3 day getaway as opposed to Disney when we stay for as many days as we possibly can! :lmao:

Never been to disney in the summer so can't answer you question there...sorry.
