so easyjet flights are going to terminal 2b at paris now, can anyone tell me is it relatively easy to find your way round there? In comparison to terminal 3 I mean.

Also we have booked shuttle service and I am shocked at the 150 euros for a round trip

We found it a bit more confusing particularly on the way back as you go through bit that used to be security to get to the check in desks.

It was also a bit of a walk to pick up luggage on arrival but we were directed by staff so you should be okay.

How many of you are travelling. Shuttles tend to differ in price based on number of passengers. Our average has been around 110-140 for 3-6 people with RS/BS transport

I just flew out of terminal 2B with Easyjet today. I didn't have any problems getting to the gate, but there were no toilets in the gate area (around gate 27 anyway) after going through security, so go before going through security!

there are 5 of us going, 2 adults 1 5 year old an 11 year old and a 1 year old!

we flew easyjet and used RS TRANSPORT in april we found terminal 2b fine but there are no toilets once you've gone through security, as for the transport it cost us 160 euros for 6 of us return which we thought was a good price

Surely there must be a toilet somewhere on the other side of the Security. We are travelling with a 2 year old and although not doing badly with the whole potty training business he does not have the bladder of steel that his father posesses (looks like too many S's).

Does anyone have any further comments on the toilet situation. Surely they would not design a departure lounge with no toilets, it would be like designing an airport without developing a system to deal with all the baggage, oh yeah someone already did that.

I looked at a map of the terminal and i am presuming departure bit of terminal 2b would be the half of the terminal where the planes are drawn?

Well there is a man and woman figure appearing at opposite ends of the departure bit so I can only presume this might mean toilets, I sure hope so or there will be lots of puddles to be mopped up as I refuse to use aeroplane loos for me or my daughter!

We didnt find any toilets once we had gone into the lounge after security when we were there in April. Our flight ended up being delayed and we were stuck there for about 3.5 hours in total with only a vending machine with limited stock in it for refreshments as we couldnt go out again. My four year old was getting pretty desperate when we finally boarded the plane.

You might want to check that there is no delay on your flight before you go into the departure lounge.

Previous posters are correct. It is common in several areas of CDG. (as well as other international airports)

Just plan accordingly and ensure that you follow the carry on rules so that you won't be delayed at security

Looks like we will be hanging around out front then until just before departure, I would not like to think that we would be waiting 3.5 hours with no facilities. I have never been to a Departure Lounge that did not have at least a toilet but maybe its more prevalent than I thought from what bavaria had to say.

Will just have to go careful with the liquids for Josh that day :)

I am shocked that this is the case then, surely if you are going to be waiting over any period of time they have a duty to provide loo's, I just wonder what do they do if say a little kid is screaming for the loo and flights delayed, surely they must have something.

do they have any nice large plants, i might let her wee in one of those, if I get told off, then I have a valid point!

Yes I am still reeling about this piece of news. I am kinda hoping they do not have large plants as they will be stinking :)

Maybe an empty bottle might be a handy thing and I am sure that if enough were handed into the airport staff they might install some portaloos.

Just leave and come back through security again.

This is not uncommon in the world and people deal with it every day. The elite lounges as well are before security.

I have just read the most horrendous reviews of cdg terminal 2!!!!!

Omg I am scared and I dont wanna go, give me safe terminal 3!

I thought once you went through security that was pretty much it. That peice of information earlier in the thread would have come in very handy.

Thanks bavaria from a stressed parent.

steve

there is a toilet outside security by the shop and little bar/cafe but that is all, the security guard tells you as you are going through security that there are no toilet facilities there

Does anyone know if there are any toilets in terminal 2E as all this toilet situation is getting me worried as I don't think my bladder could cope with a long wait!!!!:scared1:
