Governor DeWine in Ohio just announced that when cases are half of what they are now, all mandates will be lifted.

I like this approach much better. Let's see if we get beyond this plateau and the concern over the variants possibly causing another surge/bump in cases......and yet give people a milestone to look forward to. The Governor of Ohio seems to have handled things well throughout this pandemic. A reasoned approach.

I have also felt the need to apologize from time to time, people really do not want to hear the facts when they do not agree with their pre determined opinions. Like the posters who are complaining that they are not getting their share of JnJ doses, but the real question should be how many COMBINED doses of JnJ, Pfizer, and the other vaccine (I forget the name). Like you pointed out 2.1 doses yesterday, by the end of the month it will be double that. Some people need to argue just for the sake of arguing.
I feel like you're doing the same :confused3

All due respect, you are completely wrong about my intentions. You also missed the point of the entire conversation being had. Since all parties involved had reached a happy medium, maybe it's a good idea to not try to stir up unneeded drama.

Almost halved in one month. Running out of time to have the “March surge”.

Governor DeWine in Ohio just announced that when cases are half of what they are now, all mandates will be lifted.

I was excited to hear this yesterday. I did hear that we are at 179 per 100,000 so we will have a little more then half to go. Still very exciting to see a light at the end end of the tunnel. Though I am sure when things get lifted I will be heading back to the office. I have liked working from home.

In Ohio, as of just this morning, CVS has opened up appointments almost all throughout the state.

This is good news. I have been trying to get my step dad an appointment all week. He just became eligible on Thursday. No was having any appointments. I spent hours this week to finally find one last night. This will defiantly help others.

The J&J vaccines have come to Ohio. I was able to get two appointments this morning - one for my mom tomorrow (about an hour's drive for her), and one for one of my aunts on Tuesday (about a 90-minute drive). But they're willing to drive a little further since it's just one time. Both are through CVS...I was on their website at 6:30AM this morning and ended up waiting about 1.5 hours to make the first appointment.

My dad got himself an appointment at Walgreens for Monday...from the dates it looks like it'll be Moderna. I found J&J appointments for his wife but my dad is anti-J&J because he doesn't think it's as good...
