CD: How do Simon Visas work to pay for trials?

I have heard that some people cash out for Simon Visa cards and then use them to pay for trials. Is it a Simon Mall gift card or is it truly a Visa card. Does it give you a card number, expiration date, and verification key (that 3 digit code on the back of credit cards)?? I don't see how you could use it to pay for trials if it didn't have all of those things.

It's a visa card used anywhere visa is accepted. It has all of the things you mentioned below. If you buy the actual card you need to register it online in your name to use online. If you open an online account they will send you the visa number and it's already in your name.

Thank you!! That is what I had guessed and pieced together from reading posts. I just wanted to be sure before I cashed out for that and then couldn't use it!!

/you can also buy them at your local mall if its a simon mall. This is the same thing they use if you would go into the mall and but a gift certificate for someone. I wont but them anymore because of the fee Also fyi if you even plan on using up the card and it has an odd amount on it you need to know the exact amount on the card before a store can process it.

Thanks for the info! Is the card rechargeable, like can you add money to it when it gets low. I really only plan to use it to complete trials.

Sorry...stupid question...so if you open an online account you won't get a physical card? You said they'll send you the visa number....is that via email?

No you don't get a card. They will send you an email with your visa number, expiration date and that 3 digit number on the back. You need to click on the link in the email to activate the account.

Ohhh I see! Very nice! And are they reloadable? Or are they like the GC & you'd have to get another one??? I'm guessing/hoping not...???
