CD- American Express Gold Card

Has anyone done this offer? Any hidden catches or fees? I run my own daycare business...do you think that qualifies?

I also am cusious how this credits. Do I have to wait until I actually get the card in the mail to make a purchase, or will I get all the card info as soon as I am approved and can make an online purchase?

I was approved and got credit after I made first purchase good luck!

Yes I did this one too. I got credit before I made my first purchase. The first year is free and then they charge $145.00 a year for it. I didn't realize that so I cancelled it. We need a business cc but I don't want one with a yearly fee. I asked Tricia about the discover business card and she is checking into to it.

The Discover one says this: "0% Intro APR* on Purchases for 12 months... and get 5% Cashback Bonus on office supplies and 2% Cashback Bonus on gas!" It doesn't really say anything about the annual fee. But it does say it takes 21 days to get credit. I'm not sure if that is from the time you are approved or the time that you use the card.

It might have a fee. I couldn't find the fine print on the American Express business cc until after I signed up for it. I'm willing to be a guinea pig on this one if you want

Ok - this offer is up on SR and I did it. It does not give you any information about a yearly fee so we'll see what happens. I did go ahead and apply for it. When I was done it gave me a message saying it could take up to 30 days to be approved. I'll let you'all know what happens with this one. I hope it works out well. I'd like this card!

I'm anxious to see what it is like, too. I have a Chase business card that I am not terribly fond of and an AMEX one that has to be paid off every month. I do like the rewards on that one. But cash back as opposed to gift cards would be a nice change of pace. Not that I buy a lot of gas for my business. LOL!!
