CCT or WCT

I have reservations for Carthay Circle and Wine Country Trattoria on two different nights during our stay. We are only going to do WOC on one night - which restaurant would be better for us to use for the WOC tickets? I'm looking in regards to which would have a better viewing area and overall experience (this will be for myself and 11 year old DD). Also, does one require not to show up as early? This is our first trip.
