CCI Coupon Question

We got a discount coupon last time we stayed at Candy Cane Inn to be used on our next visit. If we use it this visit do we get another one for the next time? Or do they not give you one if you just used it?

We just stayed at CCI and loved it! My only issue was the noise from Carsland but the front desk told me upon check out you can request a room closer to the front of the hotel! We had booked a 'deluxe' and I am understanding the deluxes are all towards the back.

We are going to go again in early Dec and stay at CCI and use our coupon!

The amenities and the short walk to DL is awesome!

I think that is the best plan!


Its just DH & I, kids are all grown up, so we like to sleep in a bit! But great idea about the sound machine, we have one, we will bring it next time. I really like the deluxes and the top floor ... thanks for that idea!!!

What was the noise from? Could you tell? What time of day? I hadn't considered this but it may go through some really noisy periods as they work on the rock wall of the cadillac range. Once it's painted and the scaffholding comes down it may either deflect noise from CCI but could reflect park noise to CCI too. Could be very interesting.

skiingfast, we stayed in room #229, top floor! Loved the room! I could see Hollywood Tour of Terror right outside my room!

Ok, the noise was early, like by 6:30am. Now we stayed just one night, Sunday to Monday (Oct 24-25). It was from construction vehicles mostly, like that beeping backing up noise but it was ongoing. I spoke with the girls at check out and they said it was annoying as anything and that they really have no idea how long this will be going on. Girls did say you could request a room closer to the front of the hotel, closer to Harbor Ave but not really sure I want to do that as the road may be noisy as well.

Oh and the coupon, I am looking at it right here on my desk ... $10.00 off per night!!!!

BUT all in all we will be staying there AGAIN for sure!!! Their rooms are lovely, the amenities; free parking, free wifi, free breakfast, free shuttle to the parks but it is just a 2 block walk on the same side as DL!!!

That happened to me before our last time staying there - I was so mad at myself and kept thinking maybe I threw it away on accident? But then after tearing the house apart, I finally found it with all the memorabilia from the last trip.

We stayed last March and did not receive the coupon. I called about our upcoming trip and told them that we did not receive a coupon. They said to let them know when we checked in and they could pull up the record of our last visit and verify that it was within the last 12 months. I hope this is the case!!

I actually asked if we could move but the hotel was full so we couldn't. That was the big drawback of the property, all else was excellent! Bfast, staff, shuttle, loved it!!!!

Call up and ask!!! I would!!! I really think they would love the business because I think many are complaining about Carsland! But that's not going to stop me from staying there at all! The first time we stayed at Candy Cane Inn we were in one of the rooms right out on Harbor. It was really noisy. I had a terrible time sleeping. My strategy ever since has been to ask for a room toward the back of the property. I probably still would since it's just the middle of the night noise that I find really bothersome.

Call up and ask!!! I would!!! I really think they would love the business because I think many are complaining about Carsland! But that's not going to stop me from staying there at all! I will keep requesting 'deluxes' even if they are in the back and bring my sound machine! I thought that Harbor Blvd would be noisy so I want the back for sure!

I had the certificate once and was planning on going back to use it. I ended up calling to reschedule for a time after the certificate would have expired. The man adjusting the booking for me offered to reissue me the certificate with an extended due date for my later booking. That was great service! As it turned out, I never used the certificate, just couldn't pass up those HoJo's entertainment rates we kept getting. I would like to go back again to Candy Cane Inn sometime. Anyway, if you ask nicely, they'll probably be happy to help you out with securing your discount.
