CC to reserve ADR?

I know for character meals you have to use a CC to reserve the ADR...but can you reserve with one card but actually pay with another? Or do you have to pay with the card that reserved it?

You can pay with a different credit card or any other form of payment you wish (e.g. cash, gift card, dining credits, etc). The cc you use when you make the reservation will be charged only if you don't cancel before the deadline and then don't show up at the restaurant. Also, it is not just character meals, but all Table Service restaurant reservations require a cc guarantee.
