Just got off the phone with my guide to pay my deposit! I am so excited!!! We have wanted to become members for some time and now I cannot wait to plan the next 20 years worth of vacations!
I wanted to buy resale but just couldn't find anything that fit with what I wanted. So, we bought direct through Disney and couldn't be happier especially with the double points now. Even though it's more expensive and that part kills me I'm happy in getting just what I wanted. We got (3) 120 pt AKV contracts. My oldest is 14 so my plan is to give each of my kids one of the contracts as they begin to start their families. The 360 pts may seem like a lot but living in Ohio (cold and snow) I want to get away often and this way I have multiple trips a year to plan - yay!!!
I've already got my first trip to HHI planned for July and the kids are so excited.
