On the West Coast Cruise we got a really nice blanket! Well...I think they called it a beach blanket, but I sleep with every night to remind me of my cruise!!

It's a white tote bag. We left it in the cabin. None of us wanted it.

No more beach towels! I love the beach towels. One can never have enough of them. Too bad, I am assuming the new tote is a cheap tote compared to the nice bag from a few years back? Kathy

I really like the tote. It is mainly white with a blue bottom and red grab handles at the top and one red strap down the back (like a single backpack type strap). It has blue pockets on each side big enough to hold a cellphone or KTTW cards, etc. These have flaps that velcro down. In the front is a large square flat pocket (no flaps) that has the DCL logo and says Castaway club in red and blue. It has a drawstring at the top and the canvas fabric is waterproof on the inside. It makes a great beach bag and we used it to bring stuff to Castaway Key and ended up using it as a carry-on on the way home. It measures about 5"x12" and it is about 16" deep.

Seems nice, we have the old bag they gave and 3 beach towels so this will be a nice addition to our collection can't wait for ours in just 17 days, but who's counting. If anyone else just wants to leave the tote in their room I'm sure there are plenty of people who would pay for the shipping if you don't want it, know I would.

Thanks for describing it! It sounds much nicer than what I had imagined it to be.

We'll be on one of the cruises next summer that will be stopping at Castaway Cay twice. I wonder if they'll have anything different made up for those cruises.

I will be looking forward to getting the bag - it sounds nice. I just have this feeling that my DH and I are going fight over it! He LOVES bags!

the first time we got a limited edition dark blue beach blanket to comemorate DCLs first trip to Antigua. the second time we got a maroon beach blanket on the West Coast Cruise. we keep them in our family room for those cool nights in front of the TV.

Oooo, the blanket sounds nice! If anyone has an extra one and would like to trade for a towel or tote, please PM me. We have lots of the towels and got our first tote last trip. My favorite was the original blue tote bag; sadly, I sold several on Ebay and now only have one left that is getting quite battered and tattered. I wish that I had saved a couple!

Ah-Oh! I'm in trouble now! We received the towel on our last cruise and my husband and I fight over it. I told him that he can have the towel from our upcoming November cruise. I just know I'm going to want the tote too! Call me greedy, but I just love DCL stuff! Guess I'll have to look on E-Bay for one of those towels; would make a nice Christmas present. Or maybe he'll forget that he was going to get it. Not likely!
