Another newbie question,

So typically when we go to the beach we pack a cooler full of snacks and waters. Since we will not be bringing a cooler to CC, I was just wondering what other people do. Do you bring a small soft cooler (lunch size) with bottled water (getting ice from the soda station) and prepackaged snacks? Or do you just get everything you need on CC before you get your spot on the beach? Are their waiters wandering around CC taking drink orders?

I have two little ones, who are hungry and thirsty all the time, so I want to be prepared. We will be having breakfast before we get off the ship and planning on lunch on CC.

Thanks.

There are servers taking drink orders (at least on Serenity Bay). Pretty sure they are on the Family Beach also. For food, you can get that at the buffet on the island. Ice Cream and drink stations also are located there.

I don't think they serve lunch until after 11, so you might want to bring snacks if they would want something before then.

The roving servers are, indeed, also on the Family Beach. Thankfully! :rolleyes1

On my first visit to CC I brought a few prepacked snacks in my beach bag for my DS and I filled his cup with apple juice before getting off the boat. He did get hungry before the buffet opened so it was nice to have the snacks and juice readily available. And there are many cast members around to assist you with any of your needs. I saw a lady having a hard time keeping her son from wandering off while she fixed herself a plate and without even having to ask a cast member came over, helped her fix her plate, as well as find a place to sit so she could keep hold of the young "explorer".

If I remember correctly- there is fresh fruit out very early by Cookies. And the ice cream machines roll out early too as I remember having one after running the 5K. But, if your little ones are snackers, I would bring a bit for them to eat.

Just remember to not bring anything that will melt....it gets hot and stuff melts fast. I speak from experience. :)

For waters we bought one of the DCL insulated cooler bags and brought our DCL-purchased bottles of water in it. We actually bought the bag on the island, and the bartender was kind enough to fill it with our waters (from our backpack) and ice. That was lovely.

DS is generally too busy having fun to think about food; we nearly have to drag him out of the water to get food into him. (necessary because one that hunger hits he's horrid)

We just found a spot not too far from Cookies 2. They have everything you could ever want.

Yes. The soda dispensers, water, and fresh fruit were available before buffet opened. I recall getting some around 10:30ish. Soft serve ice cream was open pretty early too. My kids were not too fond of the buffet options (hot dogs, burger, BBQ) so u may want snacks if they are picky eaters.
