CC & laundry..?

I posted this on the BC thread, but figured I'd try here. Do you have to insert your postal code to use you CC on the laundry machines? I sincerely hope not. We had no luck at the pumps our last trip even with the 00 trick

No need for your postal code at the BC laundry. We used the facilities last week.

We have also never had a problem at the pumps either with our 3 numbers of our postal code followed by 00. We sometimes use five zero's and that has also worked.

When I filled up at a U.S. Costco attendant told me to just put corresponding numbers for letters of postal code. It worked. I don't know if it's just at Costco that it works, or all US gas stations. When driving around Florida I get a Hess cash/gift card to make life easier.

Are all the self serve laundry facilities credit card only payment On the Disney website it say they are coin operated.

Some resorts use coins, some use CCs. For example, on our last 2 visits, POFQ used CCs, but CSR still used coins.I imagine they will eventually all move to CCs as they update the equipment.

I've had trouble in the past trying the 00 trick, and I discovered that the reason was because the zip code created by adding the 00 did not actually exist! But after doing a zip code lookup I did find that a 01 did exist for me, so I use that instead and haven't had any issues since.

I'll have to try that. So glad the laundry machines don't require postal codes. Gas station is bad enough!! Guess at Disney they have so many international visitors using a CC machine that requires a U.S, postal code just isn't feasible.
