This year we decided to book with QSDP instead of reg but are booking ADR's for our whole trip just in case free dining comes out during our stay on Nov 17-23 (not expecting it though) and if it doesn't then I will cancel. We however are booking 2 TS to pay out of pocket if free dining isn't offered. We are doing O'Hanas for my birthday and Crystal Palace. I know CC is required when booking these and I was wondering if they take the amount of the dinner/breakfast right away or is it just to hold the reservation. I'm usually on reg DP so I know it wasn't charged at that time. I just want to be prepared on May 21st when I get to make my ADR's. TIA. ;)

Hi neighbour :) were in Burlington, On. No, they won't charge anything right away to your card. They will only charge if you don't show up.

No, they don't charge anything to the cc directly. It is only a guarantee, so if you don't show up, they will bill you 10 $ per person on the cc. If you go the ADR you pay for what you order the way you want, cash or cc or whatever.
