CC Fishing excursions?

Has anyone taken the fishing excursion from CC? I am thinking of booking a 3 night cruise in Feb and I read the excursions from CC and one of them was bottom fishing off of Abaco. I have done 4 or 5 trips on Lake Buena Vista and always had fun. I am an avid fisherman, but I've never fished anywhere off of North America.

My husband did this. He really enjoyed it! They caught many fish, including a really big shark. Realize that it's catch and release (where would you put it anyway?). It does fill up fast, so that's one to pre-book before you leave.

Book right on your 60 day mark by phone, this sold out in 1 day for my cruise.

Do you book it through the DCL phone number or do you call the reservation number. Assuming that 60 days is the soonest you can book what time do the phone lines open?

You can go to the dcl main page, and there's a spot to book reservations. You can also print out a form and fax it. The hours are on the web page too, but it's probably 9 est or edt.

They actually caught 2 or 3 sharks. The first couple were smaller (DH caught one, and a little boy caught the other). The little boy's got loose before the pulled it aboard. Towards the end of the time, they hooked the really big shark. Everyone on board took a turn fighting it, and they got it near the boat for the captain to release it. He really did have fun fighting it!
