Currently booked at POR with 2 Woods View 5th sleeper rooms. Now CBR-Water View is available for my dates.

I can't decide if I want to switch or not.

WWYD?

I made the move. The price difference for both rooms was less than $25 total. I think the Skyliner is worth that.

I don't think views really matter at Moderates/Value unless you're at a deluxe and have a balcony. If prices are close and you like the skyliner, than it's probably a good move. Your view at mods/deluxes is a giant window that guests walking by proceed to peep into your room LOL!

If you did a 5th sleeper at CBR, the Jamaica building is a good general location request for proximity to the skyliner and a relatively quick walk across the bridge to the main pool, lobby, restaurants/shopping.

They are the only categories that were available. There are only 2 people per room so didn't really need 5th sleeper.

I am happy with the change. I originally wanted CBR for the Skyliner but it wasn't available when I originally booked. For less than $25 I'm game!

our approach is to never pay for a view. it is a 50/50 shot in my experiences over the the last 30 years on the view being "standard" what you pay for, or better then expected.

in my 4 stays at Animal Kingdom Lodge for example. We always book standard, and 3 of the 4 have actually has Savanah view.

I didn't want to pay for the view. In both cases, they were the ONLY room category available for my dates.
