CBR vs. Beach Club

We are doing a split stay for a honeymoon and are trying to decide on the 2nd resort. Is Beach Club really worth the extra money over CBR?

Don't know but.....

I'm sure the beach club is maybe a tad bit more romantic, but we've always loved cbr. Going for our 20th, and still choose cbr.
But if money were no issue, guess we might would try the beach club. But there again, we would miss cbr - LOL

Depends on if you plan to spend a lot of time at the resort or not - I'd love to try BC, mainly for Stormalong Bay. The New England Beach Club decor is not too exciting for me, since I'm from New England, LOL! But if I was on a honeymoon, and planning to sleep in late a few days etc., I'd go with the deluxe, just to savor that luxurious feel.

We tend to spend little time at our hotel though, so we usually do a moderate, although we got a great deal on AKL last trip.

If you stay at CBR for a honeymoon, request a room in one of the farther out sections--away from the hustle and bustle. Trinidad South with a water view would be an excellent choice for a honeymoon. It is more romantic and out of the way.

If you decide to spend extra money on the beach club, you will get the added benefit of a gorgeous and very romantic night time view of the Beach Club/Yacht Club/ Boardwalk area and promenade. I have strolled around the beach club area at night and it truly breathtaking--very magical. Plus, there are more dining options and the MGM/EPCOT location can't be beat. If you can afford it, I would spend the extra money, but I don't think you can really go wrong with CBR either, as it is also beautiful--just not quite as upscale. Just depends on your budget really.
