I'm going to WDW again in late October. I stayed at POFQ last December and am staying there again in May. I had originally booked there for October, but decided i really wanted to try CBR as the only moderate I haven't experienced. I really want to have opinions from folks who have been recently regarding their experiences during construction and what building requests I should make--I tend to always ask for top floor and someplace quiet. However, since CBR is so large, I thought I'd ask if folks have preferable buildings they lean toward. Something about me--I have no problem with distances between room and facilities at all--one thing I like about WDW is that it involves a lot of walking. I also tend not to use the pool and spend a lot of time at the parks during the day, hence I really shouldn't be bothered by construction noise--but I don't want to stay in a location that looks a mess with all of the construction equipment about. I'll probably enjoy walking around the resort in the morning when it's cooler or at night. One last thing about CBR--when is the last time they renovated the rooms?
Now CSR, I've stayed before, but I saw a good rate and wouldn't mind staying again as an alternative to CBR. I know they are working on room refurb now--will this be complete by October? I assume when it comes to buildings, that the Cabanas would be least desirable during construction with the pool and the new tower. Any thoughts?
I know this is a lot to read with lots of questions, but I know I've come to the right place. Any info any of you can share would be greatly, greatly, greatly appreciated.
