CBR Transportation

Can any of you comment how efficient the CBR Bus transportation is and how periodic the schedule is? I'm specifically looking for comments from those that have used the buses for EE and/or Park Hopping. Also, is transportation provided to Downtown Disney/Disney Quest?

There is service from CBR to all of the parks, including a route that jointly serves Typhoon Lagoon and DTD. They are scheduled to run about every 20 minutes and I've seen them come closer together, but never farther apart (although I'm sure it happens from time to time). We've never had any problems getting a bus in time for EMH or for a pre-opening character breakfast in one of the parks.

We tend not to do much park hopping, so I can't really help determine when CBR might be a good intermediate hop and when it won't be.

Thanks for the update. Can anyone comment on Park Hopping? Is there a bus/shuttle that goes between the Parks, or will we have to go back to the resort as a "hub"?

We found the transportation at CBR to be very reliable - we never waited the full 20 minutes for any bus.

If you mean to travel between parks, then that's possible. You wouldn't have to go back to your resort to do that and there are alternatives to buses in some cases too.

Some examples
MK-EPCOT - monorail
MK - MGM - bus
EPCOT - MGM - boat
AK-all parks - bus

Downtown Disney has bus services to all resorts but NOT to parks. Just to emphasise - TO TRAVEL TO/FROM DD YOU HAVE TO GO VIA A RESORT. That's the main difference between it and the parks.
