CBR to Chef Mickey

The first day we arrive to WDW we plan on having a meal at Chef Mickey to kick off our vacation. Can someone tell me the best way to get from CBR to Chef Mickey and approx. how long it will take? I'd like to have an idea of how far ahead of our ressie we should leave to be sure we're there on time.

You can hop on a MK bus then walk or take Monorail to the Contemporary. I always plan at least an hour of travel time when getting to a reservation. Another option is to take any park/Downtown disney bus then switch to Contemporary bus. But I prefer to take MK bus.

An hour may be a wee bit much, but if you get to CR early, simply check in early. Usually, they will seat you anyway.

You're right an hour could be early and then again things can happen. Like long wait for bus etc. Not only that the OP is staying at CBR which has several bus stops. So I always plan an hour and if we get there early we walk around or get a drink in the lounge.

I usually leave my resort an hour beforehand as well. I would much rather be really early vs stressing over being late.
Take the bus to the MK, then walk over to the CR (8 mins) along the nice sidewalk.
