Hello we are staying at the CBR this May and we will have a double stroller. I was wondering how bad it was having to carry the stroller upstairs, were the stairs many and steep? Do they have a ramp? Thanks

No, the second level requires carrying a stroller up the stairs. You can always request a first floor room.

It's manageable but not with only one adult. We split the carrying, one took the kids and the other had the stroller and stuff. There are landings between smaller flights of stairs (think 6 or so stairs, then landing to turn, then some more stairs) if you need to rest for a sec or readjust your grip on the stroller when carrying it.

Thanks. I thought the priority for ground floor requests were given to disable and scooter users. Plus I'm a little bit scared of snakes and other unwelcome visitors that's why I didn't request it.

They are, but there's way more 1st floor rooms than guests with disabilities and/or scooters. Like probably 20 times more.

Not to be the bearer of bad news but snakes and unwelcome visitors can climb stairs very easily. No less chance on 2nd floor over 1st.

I stayed at CBR years ago in a corner room by stairs on the second floor. Every night....bang, bang, bang, as someone was dragging their stroller up. ☹

Why not just request a ground floor? I know they're not guaranteed, but that's what we've always done. The 1 year we stayed at CBR, we did this and all 4 of rooms were accommodated. I can't imagine you'd have that much trouble getting a ground floor. It would be quite a hassle in my opinion to have to take a souble stroller up/down steps every day...let alone if you had a sleeping child etc.

Yes I called yesterday and requested a ground floor room. Thanks
