CBR, Soap Dispenser or Bars of Soap?

I haven't stayed there in 4 years and I cannot remember if they use that icky soap/shampoo dispenser in their bathrooms or not. I am hoping for bars of soap. Thanks!!!

CBR uses bars of soap for the sink and the wall mounted soap dispensers in the shower. The dispensers they use now are better than the ones 4 years ago. They dispense two items (one is liquid soap and the other is shampoo) as opposed to the old ones that held only that awful "soap/shampoo" combo.

You can always ask housekeeping for an extra bar of soap for the shower if you so desire.

Hmmmmmm, 4 years ago I could of sworn that they used bar soap in the showers and that the dispensers were at PO and the value resorts only.

Just got back 3 weeks ago from CBR an they are using the bars of soap. I think they got rid of the dispensers when they refurbished th rooms. I didn't like the dispenser and I think they got complaints about it so they are gone. The shampoo is the shapoo and cream rinse in one bottle thing. DD forgot her toothbrush and she got on delivered to our room. The mousekeepers at this resort are great.

I've been to the CBR in 2000 and 2001. Both rehabbed and non rehabbed rooms. They both had bars of soap. No dispensers.

I was at CBR last May in an "old" room and just this past February in a "new" room and both times had BARS of soap! They give you 2 different types of bar soap; facial soap and bath soap! They also give you shampoo/conditioner in a plastic bottle. Very cute The bars of soap have an image of Mickey carved into them!

I have never heard of soap dispensers at CBR before, but I guess anything is possible.

I was pretty sure that there was bath sized soap (no dispenser) and always had been at Caribbean Beach. But I recently read in another thread about soap dispensers being at all moderates including CBR. Since I haven't stayed there in 4 years, I thought I had better ask. I can't stand that soap/shampoo dispenser and have been bringing my own to PO and the All Stars. I just wanted to be prepared for my stay at CBR next week! Thank you everyone for the information.
