CBR should we call?

I've been reading on the board about CBR closing for renovations. My family has ressies there for Thanksgiving night and the following night (we are staying at FW for the 6 days prior to Thanksgiving). Now some of the messages said we should wait to be called, but I am concerned that they won't notice our last two nights are different from the first 6?!@&* Should I call and see if I can get the Poly deal or should I wait to be called?

Are there people out there with November ressies for CBR that have or haven't heard yet?

PS I'm soooo excited to be going! I haven't been since high school (89), I've never gone with my husband and I've never stayed on-site! YIPPEEEEEE!!!!!

Amy - You should call. I did, and I am SO glad! I got the Poly for the same rate as CBR. If you wait for them to call you, your choices might be limited by then. Call 'em.

Hi Amy. I waited for Disney to call, and they called me about 2 weeks ago (my reservation is for the first week of October). I was offered POR, POFQ, CSR, or an upgrade to AKL. I chose CSR, because I think I'd like that best.

22 days and counting!

Don't be afraid to call now... I called my travel agent and told him other guests were being offered the Poly or AKL... and that I wanted the Poly. He got it for me. Don't wait, Thanksgiving is going to be crowded.. I've heard the Poly is quite full already...

Thanks for the advice. I called my MIL and gave her the 1-800 number I found on the boards and told her that y'all reccommended calling. I'll let ya know how it turns out!

Call. The worst thing that can happen is they dont have any specials at the premium hotels. Then you can choose your moderate alternative, and get yourself psyched up for the trip instead of worrying about where you will sleep! After all, You ARE going to DISNEYWORLD! Enjoy!
