CBR - requesting a village

We booked our trip through AAA and did not request a village at the time. I am now thinking I'd like to request that we have Jamaica. Should I go through our AAA agent or just go ahead and fax them myself? And should I do it now and then again 4 days before we leave or should just before we leave be enough? We are going the end of June if that makes a difference.

Just call CRO and have it noted in your reservation. We have always had good luck with requests at check in. We never fax and always got the location we wanted.

Since you booked through AAA, you can't call CRO directly and have requests placed on your ressies. AAA "owns" your reservation and all requests must be placed through them. Give your TA at AAA a call and she/he will note this request on your reservation. This is actually the best way to have requests granted, since the room assigner looks at requests placed on an individual ressie first, before looking at any faxes.
