CBR Pool Question...

I ahve been reading and round out that the main pool at CBR is going to be closed in starting January for a few months... we booked CBR for Jan 29-Feb 3 for 5 adults. Will we be disappointed if there are only quiet pools to swim in? I realize the weather is touch and go but we are from NY and the weather there is still better than here and usually when we go this time of year we swim at least a few times. I just can't decide if I should convince everyone to switch resorts or stay with CBR! Any help would be awesome! Thanks!

The quiet pools at CBR are very nice. They will be a little more crowded than usual when you go but if the first one you go to is crowded you can always try another one. I don't think you need to switch resorts.

We've been to CBR nearly 10 times and never once have I swum in the main pool, always the quiet pools. The main pool was always too crowded. Yes, the quiet pools will be a bit more crowded than normal, but if it's the middle of winter I can't imagine them being that crowded. If you like the theming of CBR, stick with it as your resort choice - you'll love it!

Well get this, I called yesterday to make my reservations to CSR for Feb 23rd week, and I asked for the heck of it about CBR's pool situation. The reply I got after asking the refurbishment schedule was something to the effects of "I have no record of a pool closure!" Nice! I assume there is a disconnect somewhere!

The information posted on this site and others is usually quite reliable.

Please don't book 'assuming' it will be open in the face of such publicly posted information. You may very well be terribly disappointed.

Yes, I definitely kind of snickered when she stated that *she* didn't have information about the pool closure! I told her to go to the Disboards for her updates in the future
