Potentially staying onsite this coming February for my DD's gymnastics competition.
The Disney Sports packages include CBR and POR...with CBR being nominally less ($368 less in total for a family of 6) now, understandably that $368 could be a couple dinners (or 1 dinner and some snacks for us)...So, where would you stay ... with all of the construction at CBR I'm a little leery; however, my kids loved CBR when we stayed previously especially the pool and food court(yeah food court is not operational now). We stayed at POR which is so lovely years ago...been there done that, my kids enjoy using the resort pool and that one didn't impress them as much. (Sad that CSR isn't included, even though it's also being refurbished)...
Any thoughts on this? DH and I didn't love the buses at CBR at all. But we were in Pirates section then, this time I don't expect to be, and we use Uber a lot too.
Let me know, I plan to make a reservation in next couple days.

We just stayed at CBR in July and enjoyed it, we are mostly in the parks so the food court wasn’t an issue for us. We loved the pool, and the construction wasn’t bad. I agree bus service did not seem as great at POR. We stayed in Jamaica close to the bridge, so on the magic kingdom days we walked to the first bus stop to be sure to get a seat and that worked! The rooms have been updated so that was nice, they felt fresher than POR. However, I like the food options much better at POR, and it seemed like their bus stops at the parks were closer. I think you will have a great time at either resort.

Thank you - It's a tough decision!

I would pick POR, just to try the new boozy beignets over in the French Quarter! :-)
Lol but if it’s a better price for CB like we got in July it’s hard to pass up. I bet the price for those rooms goes up more after the gondola is complete.

Does CBR have flooring or carpet?
