We are planning a trip from May 31 - June 7 and I can't decide which resort. We have stayed at CSR before and really liked it but was wondering if anyone would choose CBR over CSR. Any suggestions or preferences??

I have stayed at both and prefer CSR. The food is much better and IMO it had a slightly more deluxe feel. It also felt a little more compact to me, but I don't know if that's really the case. The transportation in our experience was far superior at CSR.

If you want to try something new, CBR is a very nice resort, and you never know, your family might like it more!

I will be happy to give you an opinion on both in a couple weeks! We've stayed at CBR and thought it was fun. The food court was kind bland, but, you know, it's a food court. The grounds were wonderful, as was mousekeeping. Bus service was spotty and there are sooooo many stops. Great pool for kids and easy drink access.:thumbsup2 We'll be staying at Coranado Springs in a few days so I can tell you more then, if you want. Frop me a message, if you wish and I will tell you all I know. Though you didn't ask, I will tell you that POR is fantastic. Heads and shoulders above CBR -- though, like I said, there is absolutely nothing wrong with CBR, just a personal preference. You probably already know this, but just in case, there really is no swimming beach at CBR, just a great view of the lakes where they troll for gators and sand pits for horseshoes. You can take boats out on the lake, but you can not swim there. Don't know if you were planning on hitting some surf, but now you know.:) I am really looking forward to seeing CSR. I hear it's more of a grownup theme, but still kid friendly. Business is business, and all that.

We have stayed @ CBR a few times before and really enjoy it. The caribbean feel, music, landscaping, beaches w/ hammocks, the pool area is awesome and the kiddie pirate ship pool area is great! The food court is ok, just your basic food court, nice gift shop. The rooms are nice, always clean and kept clean throught our stay. Never any problems w/ bus transportation, longest we have waited 10-15 min, there is a few stops ( depending on what Island you stay in). MK is the futherst park w/ about a 15 min bus ride.:cool1:

We're like you only opposite! We stayed at CBR last summer and LOVED it!!! Would go back in a heartbeat. We were in Martinque. Not a preferred building but you couldn't tell that by how close we were to everything. We really struggled with where to stay for our trip this summer. Ultimately decided on CSR just for a new experience. We keep hoping we made the right choice. It's going to be hard to beat CBR in our book. :)

eastcarolinafan - I would love to know how you like CSR.. We loved it when we stayed there in Oct 2009.

Thanks everyone for your replies...my DH and DS want to stay in the pirate themed rooms :lmao: Decisions Decisions

DH and I have loved all of our stays at CBR, but we're going to try CSR next time. We've gotten to the age (and size) where the double bed is just a bit too 'cozy' for us. The queen size beds at the other mods will suit us better. But we do love everything els about CBR.
