Getting ready to book for June 2012. This will be our third trip. It's myself, DH, DS 13 & DD 8. We have stayed at ASMu & CBR. Loved CBR and would be happy to go back. BUT--we think we'd like to try someplace else and CSR appeals to us. We were in Martinique at CBR last trip, not preferred, but lucked in to a great room. I know we can request a location/bldg & would do that for either resort. The question now is, do we stick with what we know & go back to CBR? I'm afraid if we were too remote from the food court/main pool we would be dissapointed after our previous location. OR--do we try CSR? I've read all kinds of reviews and looked at pictures. The pool looks amazing for the kids. I'm leaning toward the Cabanas section again for proximity to the food & access to the main pool. Anyone been to both & have a preferance?

We've never stayed at CSR, but we loved CBR. For us, CSR has never been one we've considered stayed at; nothing in particular, just not as appealing to us as other resorts. With that said, if CSR is a resort you'd like to try, I say go for it. We have our favorite resorts, but we also like to try different ones. Good luck deciding, but I'm sure you'll have a great trip no matter which resort you choose :wizard:.

We've stayed at the CBR once and the CSR three times. Both are large resorts and you don't want to end up too far from food or the pool. The three times we were at CSR we stayed either in the Cabanas or right next to them. That position is ideal as you go one way to the food/El Centro and the other to go to the pool (both are short walks).

We loved CBR - we stayed in Jamaica. I also think it's exciting to try new resorts. POR happens to be our fav moderate. The grounds are stunning, and love the boat to DTD, and evening entertainment in the lounge.

As an AP holder I go to WDW several times each year and usually stay at a Moderate so have stayed at all four more than once in just the last couple of years. We much prefer CSR with POFQ coming in a close second. CBR is a very pretty resort, but every time I've stayed there the bus service and housekeeping has been pretty bad, whereas both have always been excellent at CSR. Plus CBR seems bigger and the main pool and hot tubs have always been packed. We prefer the pools at CSR. If you have small kids, CSR also has probably the best playground of any WDW resort. In eight stays at CSR I've been in the Cabanas six times and the Casitas twice and prefer the Cabanas. Twice I have been assigned to the Ranchos, but asked very nicely at check in to be moved to the Cabanas and was accommodated both times.

Can't speak for CBR but we really liked CSR! I think it all comes down to what is important to you and what isn't. For us, the refurbed rooms with queen size beds was a huge plus and the deciding factor.

We've stayed at POR our last two trips and are looking to try something new next time as well. I don't think you can go wrong at any resort, it will just be whatever you prefer in the end. So I would give CSR a try. The only problem I have with CSR is the Pepper Market concept because we use the resort's food court a lot. And we love with POR food court.
