Ok. We are going in July for two weeks. We got a great rate of 88.09 a night including tax. We go every summer and try to stay at diff. resorts. My question would be what would you pick between the two? Last year we stayed at POFQ. It was nice but too laid back for me. We did stay there years ago when it was po and dixie landings. I just remembered it being more upbeat then it was this time. I have stayed at CBR before. It was actually on our first trip in 92. We loooooved it but its been so long since we've been there. Never stayed at Cor. Springs. Anybody wanna give me the 411 on their experiences there and also Which buildings you stayed in. I'd like to stay as close to the main pool/food court as possible. Thanks for your help.

We're goin to Disney ... We're goin to Disney

I got this same offer and there was nothing available at CBR for the entire week or two that I wanted to be there (for this code). Have you checked availability??? That may make your decision for you!

I booked the CBR three days ago For July 3rd-17th and it was available and I gave my deposit. I checked on disney.com and my ressie shows up with my disc. price. So I did make a ressie. Was just wondering about the CS resort . We visited it last year...just took a looksee and it seemed nice but not having seen the rooms or what it is "truly" like I figured I'd ask here. I can get a ressie at CS for the same nights ( as of 2 hrs ago) so before I changed anything over I thought I'd get a few opinions. I'd try again with that code at CBR and keep on checking sometimes the person on the other end isnt as cooperative as the next one might be.
Good luck. Keep trying. At those rates you gotta keep trying. I know my code ended on July 4th. So I booked for the day before therefore every night after stayed at the 88.08 price. WHAT a deal

We loved CSR. Awesome pool, big slide, great play area, largest hot tub, beach volleyball, lots of great seating and food available at the pool. The main food court is upscale and nice but on opposite side of lake. The hotel has three themed areas, the Beachy cabanas (will have to try next), the desert like Ranchos (we loved them right by main pool) and the more city like Casitas (we liked those too when we stayed). Great quiet pools as well. Has the water amenities, great transportation and just very well done. We will be heading back there !!!!

I'm SOOOO jealous! That is the exact same code that I have. I was trying for the week of June 2-10, which SHOULD have been much slower than when you are going.
I don't understand why CBR was completely booked for that rate b/c it seems that it is not many people's favorite on these boards--PO is, but PO was what was available. So, to save a lot of money, I took POR. (I have called back 5-6 times in the last 3 weeks, but the same king room is all that is available. If someone with this code does cancel or switch resorts, does that room open up or does it become a rack rate room? In other words, will cancellations or switches open up any rooms? Does anyone know? The CMs that I have asked didn't know, either, but they said to keep calling).

I keep hearing good things about CSR--the pool, the food court, etc. I don't think that any of us will be too disappointed, though, with any of our choices.

We love CSR. The main pool area is awesome, terrific transportation and the food court is great. Check out my CSR website below for pics, links and info

If somebody cancels it will become available for you to grab. Thats why you HAVE to keep calling. When I called and my my ressie at first I was told every night I wanted was available but a thurs night in the middle of the vacation. How THAT happens is beyond me :confused3 out of two weeks a middle thurs night wasnt avail. I was so bummed. Didnt know what to do. I said ok I'll call back and recheck. Well we talked for like 10-15 mins chit-chatting :hyper2: while I was checking other resorts and LOW and BEHOLD the thurs night freed up and I scooped that BABY up. So it does happen. People book a room. Go online see pics of other hotels....call back make a new ressie. And the other one gets released and thrown back in the pot. Dont give up ...especially with that code...just keep calling and calling. I have the toll free number which is 1-800-828-0228 which makes all those call backs less painful. We spend enough going to disney...we shouldnt have to spend a small fortune CALLING disney.

Good luck booking....Sending good booking vibes your way !!
:goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes

What code is that you are using? Was it postcard, AAA etc??? I have AP for June 10 and it is $121/night at CS.

I called to book my ressie and I had a code attached to my name. Didnt need a pin number. Was told I could have mod for I think 56 or 59 a night mode for 88.09 incl tax. I went with mod.

Call .. maybe you have a code too. If they say no hang up and keep trying.

good luck :cheer2:

CBR is a beautiful resort. You truly feel like you have escaped to the islands. You might want to read the FAQ's listed below for opinions by others that have stayed at CBR.

We loved CSR - I might split my Aug stay in half to spend part of it there.

The pool, the Pepper Market, the transpo, the ambience..... Fantastic!

We've stayed in Jamaica because we wanted to be close to the food court without paying extra for a preferred room. We like Jamaica building 45 - it faces the lagoon and is directly across from the end of the footbridge over the lagoon to the pools and Old Port Royale. It was a very short a pleasant walk. the bus stop was just behind us across the parking lot, and the quiet pool was close by and never seemed busy at all. Bus service was very efficient with very short waits. We love CBR and would stay there again without hesitation.

Just back from CSR and we loved it. We stayed in the Casita section # 5.Different atmosphere than POR where we stayed last year.Very tropical landscaping and the decor seemed more exotic to us.There were lots of conventioners around the resort but that didn't bother us and the buses were much less crowded as they were in meetings all day! The Cabanas looked closer to the main bulding and pool area than we were. Never been to CBR .

I called to see if I could change my Value to a mod with the pin rate and all I was offered was CSR and POR King rooms at 95/night before taxes. If I could get that 88/night I would take it. (June 7-10) The CM told me I could keep calling back to check for openings.

Now that I think about it, I wonder if she automatically offered me the King room because I had requested a King bed on my other ressie?
