CBR Food Court Chaos

My family and I stayed at the CBR in early January. We are Florida residents and go to Disney at least once per year, but this past trip we purchased annual passes, so we can go more often. Here is my dilema. We went to the food court on our last morning there before checking out, we had been eating at the parks on the other days. The food court was not only packed (not an empty table to be found) but it was also completely disorganized. Some places had lines of people 30 deep, others had none. The food looked almost the same at each "booth" so I do not understand what the huge difference in lines was. Also, we had to pay at one central place, dodging running kids and other guests trying to cross the main pathway with our trays of food. The condiments were hard to find, getting beverages was a nightmare. The employees all looked and acted miserable, no help at all. My question is, are ALL the hotel food courts set up like this? Is it only chaotic during breakfast? Thank goodness this happened on our last day before driving home, I can't imagine trying to have a good time at a park after a morning like that. Are some resorts better than others when it comes to food and crowds? Any info helps, thanks!!!!!

We have been to WDW twice and each time we stayed at CBR. We ate several of our meals there and never had a problem like you were describing. Maybe we were just lucky :confused3 ? I'm sorry to hear what a nightmare you had. I hope you enjoyed your stay there otherwise. We love CBR!! :thumbsup2

We have not been to CBR yet(October)but I know that POP and Sports was hectic sometimes. And we always seemed to want things that were in different lines. It wasn't too bad though.

The food court at POR can be hectic, especially in the mornings and we noticed it some evenings as well. I wouldn't say it was just a major cluster, but it was crowded, with no trays available and no tables also at times. And yes, kids were running everywhere. With that said though, I don't think it's been as bad as your experience sounds.

We've stayed at POP 3 different times & never seen it chaotic...but then we've never had breakfast there.

We'll be at CBR (our first time) for 9 days in May. Hopefully our food court experiences will be pleasant....I actually don't think we'll eat there much at all because we'll be on the Dining Plan & have ADRs for other places.
