I am considering changing my POFQ ressie to CBR. It looks to me like there are 7 bus stops at CBR.

Can someone give me the 411 on the CBR buses? I don't want to spend an hour on the bus just trying to leave the resort.

Thanks!!!!!

There may be 7 stops... but the stops are very close to each other. On average, it takes 10 from the first stop to the last stop. Not too long, even if you are the first stop. And since CBR is centrally located, travel time to the parks isn't bad either.

Do the buses go around to all the stops or are the stops divided up?

As far as bus service goes would I be better off at CBR or POFQ?

Every bus stops at each of the 7 stops, and go clockwise. Buses headed to Magic Kingdom and Downtown Disney start at Martinique, and from there stop at Old Port Royale, Trinidad North, Trinidad South, Jamaica, Aruba, and finally Barbados, before heading to the destination (either MK or DTD).

Buses headed to MGM, Epcot and Animal Kingdom start at Jamaica, and from there stop at Aruba, Barbados, Martinique, Old Port Royale, Trinidad North, and finally Trinidad South, before heading to the destination (MGM, Epcot or AK).

I love both CBR and POFQ. I wouldn't decide between the two of them based on buses. As Tyler said, it's pretty much a wash.

I'm not deciding based on the buses. Actually, I can't make up my mind which one I want. I think I'm looking for any reason that makes one better than the other. We are planning a more relaxing trip this time. We are only going to MK once. The majority of our time will be spent at the resort. There is my problem, I can't figure out which resort will be better for hanging out. We will be dining each evening at different resorts so I thought that the bus service might be important.

If you're gonna go to Downtown Disney more than once, then I think that may tip the scales in favor of POFQ. The boat ride from POFQ to DTD isn't speedy, but it's scenic and pleasant.

CBR is nice to walk around in, but from POFQ you can walk to and through POR, so that'll be nice, too.

We stayed at the CBR last year. The resort is very pretty, but it's way too big (big enough to have its own internal bus service). This year we are staying at POFQ and I am looking forward to a small resort where I hear everything is no more than a 5 minute walk. I don't think CBR will be somewher we'll be staying in the future, but at least we can say we've been there, done that.
