Friday 11th April

Our last full day in the Parks. :sad2:

We had a lie in this morning as we had a late night last night .. but managed to be up and in for breakfast at 9.00am … it was quite busy, but not as bad as the day before. After breakfast (which was a very simple fayre of croissants, bread and cold meats) we headed into the Parks. The bus was much busier today – but not a problem to get on.

My cold was a little better – just now had a very husky voice, which my DH thought was quite sexy until I told him it was only cos I had a blocked nose!:rotfl:

We were in the Park for just after 10am. Our first ride as always was BTMR

<a href="http://s5.photobucket.com/albums/y152/Cazgal/?action=view&current=EuroDisney2008039.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y152/Cazgal/EuroDisney2008039.jpg" border="0" alt="btmr"></a>

Then we headed into Fantasyland and did in quick succession, Pinocchio, Casey Jnr, the Storybook Ride and IaSW (again !!).

<a href="http://s5.photobucket.com/albums/y152/Cazgal/?action=view&current=EuroDisney2008052.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y152/Cazgal/EuroDisney2008052.jpg" border="0" alt="casey jnr"></a>

We also had a play with King Arthur’s sword, even though, we weren’t lucky enough to be able to pull it from the stone.

<a href="http://s5.photobucket.com/albums/y152/Cazgal/?action=view&current=EuroDisney2008043-1.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y152/Cazgal/EuroDisney2008043-1.jpg" border="0" alt="sowrd"></a>

<a href="http://s5.photobucket.com/albums/y152/Cazgal/?action=view&current=EuroDisney2008041-1.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y152/Cazgal/EuroDisney2008041-1.jpg" border="0" alt="sword"></a>

We also managed to get Daisys autograpgh - again a stroke of luck as she was just about to leave the area.

<a href="http://s5.photobucket.com/albums/y152/Cazgal/?action=view&current=EuroDisney2008054.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y152/Cazgal/EuroDisney2008054.jpg" border="0" alt="daisy"></a>

Next stop was Café Hyperion, to grab a table before the Lion King Show started – we got a great table in the Café and took the opportunity to eat and recharge the batteries while we watched the show – which was breathtaking !

We had a walk around the castle – upstairs where the stained glassed windows are and downstairs in the dungeon where the dragon is .. both very good areas to explore … the photo is from the top of the Castle and you can see how quiet the park actually was.

<a href="http://s5.photobucket.com/albums/y152/Cazgal/?action=view&current=EuroDisney2008165.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y152/Cazgal/EuroDisney2008165.jpg" border="0" alt="castle quiet"></a>

We watched the Toon Train from here and noticed that Jessie was aboard ..

<a href="http://s5.photobucket.com/albums/y152/Cazgal/?action=view&current=EuroDisney2008167.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y152/Cazgal/EuroDisney2008167.jpg" border="0" alt="toon train"></a>

One of the signature our DD wanted (she is also a Jessie - well actually a Jessica !) so we dashed down and manage to get to Jessie just as she was leaving the train. We followed her over to her “spot” and after a few of the children in front of our DD had their photos it was Jessica’s turn .. I told Jessie that our DD was also a “Jessie” .. she loved that and gave her a big hug and wrote in her book “Dear Jessie, lots of love, Jessie xxx” Again, another wonderful moment we won’t forget.

<a href="http://s5.photobucket.com/albums/y152/Cazgal/?action=view&current=EuroDisney2008171.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y152/Cazgal/EuroDisney2008171.jpg" border="0" alt="jessie"></a>

<a href="http://s5.photobucket.com/albums/y152/Cazgal/?action=view&current=EuroDisney2008172.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y152/Cazgal/EuroDisney2008172.jpg" border="0" alt="jessie"></a>

<a href="http://s5.photobucket.com/albums/y152/Cazgal/?action=view&current=EuroDisney2008173.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y152/Cazgal/EuroDisney2008173.jpg" border="0" alt="jessie"></a>

It was then time to head across to the Studios for Animagique … a superb show and one I would have to see again. We managed to grab seats in the centre right at the very front - it felt like Donald and Mickey were just dancing for us.

After the show, we walked past the Information stand and we noticed that ToT had a wait time of ……. 5 minutes ! We couldn’t believe it and headed straight onto it .. it wasn't 5 minutes at all ... it was actually a walk on!!!

<a href="http://s5.photobucket.com/albums/y152/Cazgal/?action=view&current=EuroDisney2008097.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y152/Cazgal/EuroDisney2008097.jpg" border="0" alt="tot"></a>

We used baby Switch as DD didn’t want to ride it. Well, both DH and I loved this ride – it was great and one would definitely do again ... probably one of my favourites of the whole park ! Especially the bit where the CM loading you on says “If you have any questions .. then its too late !”

We then headed back to the Main Park to get our spot for the Once Upon a Dream parade.

<a href="http://s5.photobucket.com/albums/y152/Cazgal/?action=view&current=EuroDisney2008104.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y152/Cazgal/EuroDisney2008104.jpg" border="0" alt="wait parade"></a>

The queue for the ice cream at the Gibson Girl Parlour was probably the longest of our entire stay! Again the parade was superb and very different to watching it upstairs in Walts – although it was nice to have seen it from both angles.

<a href="http://s5.photobucket.com/albums/y152/Cazgal/?action=view&current=EuroDisney2008107.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y152/Cazgal/EuroDisney2008107.jpg" border="0" alt="mm parade"></a>

<a href="http://s5.photobucket.com/albums/y152/Cazgal/?action=view&current=EuroDisney2008109.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y152/Cazgal/EuroDisney2008109.jpg" border="0" alt="parade"></a>

<a href="http://s5.photobucket.com/albums/y152/Cazgal/?action=view&current=EuroDisney2008113.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y152/Cazgal/EuroDisney2008113.jpg" border="0" alt="ts"></a>

<a href="http://s5.photobucket.com/albums/y152/Cazgal/?action=view&current=EuroDisney2008117.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y152/Cazgal/EuroDisney2008117.jpg" border="0" alt="eyore"></a>

After a quick browse in the shops (again !) it was time to head to Buffalo Bills for the Wild West Show. We were in the “blue” corner ! Yeehah !! I had the vegetarian option for the food as I had read that the meat option could be a little “dodgy” – in actual fact we all really enjoyed our food, although it was perhaps a little dark to eat (who knows what we were eating!!). Our server was quick and polite – I must have had about 5 refills of coke (my throat was very sore and I had been drinking lots of water throughout the day to keep it from hurting too much – but now I was drinking coke instead).

The show itself was great, very interactive with the audience with lots of cheering, booing and yeehahing. We all enjoyed the show, especially the Roedeo games – even though Blue lost (Green won – but they cheated ofc) !!!

We then headed back to our hotel (after the visit to the shops again in the village – our DD loves looking at all the nic-naks and spends ages browsing (I am teaching her how to shop from a young age).

<a href="http://s5.photobucket.com/albums/y152/Cazgal/?action=view&current=EuroDisney2008183.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y152/Cazgal/EuroDisney2008183.jpg" border="0" alt="bbill"></a>

We then packed and loaded the car because tomorrow we have to go home ….. boo !

Another lovely day. We have been in the Blue & Yellow team at Buffalo Bill's and both times it has been the green team that wins. I think its a fix;)

I remember when we first went to this we were sitting in the front row & our team mascot crawled along the floor & jumped up at my mum who didn't see him coming like we all had, she flew out of her seat:rotfl:

Really enjoyed reading your trippies and seeing your pics, you packed so much in and so many lovely meals too.
Now I come to think of it Green one the last time we went to BB's too, I said all along they were cheating :rolleyes1
Thanks for sharing. :thumbsup2

It's always sad to see the end of a trip but you certainly filled your day with lots of fun!

On more turn on BTM, daughter is getting into it, fantastic!

Do you recall what you ate at Cafe Hyperion? Good food? How far in advance of the show did you need to get a table? This seems like a great idea!

How lucky for such a short wait at ToT. Parade looks fabulous again!

What is the vegetarian choice at Wild Bill's? Did this need to be ordered in advance? Like when you made the reservations? Or did the server simply ask you that evening? Were the children's choices different than adult?

It doesn't look like you have many bags in your hand, I hope that's because husband is carrying most of it :rotfl2:

Glad you have enjoyed the report as much as we enjoyed our holiday !

JC Butterfly - Cafe Hyperion was Ok for the food, very much like McD. Around 10 euros for a burger, fries and drink (you can add your salad, mayo and sauce onto the burger after you collect your food as they have like a salad cart in the front of the restaurant).

We got there about 30 mins before the show and many of the best tables were occupied .... DH and DD sat at a table while I went and got the food - took about 10 mins or so to navigate the restaurant (they cordone off some walkways before the show so that you can't get into the theatre from the Cafe which makes it a little bit of alonger walk toget food).

Howvere, there are two huge plasma screen TVs showing cartoons before the show starts - so our DD ws very happy sitting and watching those while waiting. TBH it was nice to have a sit down !

Wild Bills veg choice - simply ask this as you hand your tickets over when you enter the show - you get a green "vegetarian" ticket that you then hand to the server when they bring out the meals.

The veg meal was bean chilli (like chilli con carne without the meat) and then beans (green beans and some others ...), filled pasta shapes and potatoes ... there was loads and loads of the food .... so much that I didn't eat it all. It was very tasty too. Desert was apple crumble and ice cream ... as the meat eaters !

DD meal was sauasage, chicken leg, potatoes (and I think veg .....) plus a ice cream bar for afterwards - but be careful here as it had nuts in the chocolate !. We asked for plain ice cream which they brought out no problem.

Lots and lots to drink - beer or coke and as much as you want of it .... but as they clear away your pudding dishes they bring coffee cups (after this point they don't serve any more cold rinks - so if you think you might want more, it would be a good idea to ask for a refill as they bring your desert - still had about 45 mins of the show to go when the served the coffee).

Hope that helps !

We were blue as well and green cheated and won (boooooooooo!)_ I agree it was VERY dark at times. Was it really nuts in the ice cream?I thought it was rice crispie bits (not a problem for us). We found the meat OK, though some bits were a bit fatty DS(8) loved everything, and even had some of my chilli (which he was welcome to as I don't really like it) - but think if he could have seen it he might not have :rotfl:

Well, I'll just have to be different here as we were Green when we went and we lost!!!

Cazgal, you've had another fantastic day. :thumbsup2

:rotfl: We were in the green team; much to my annoyance ;), and won. So perhaps there is a conspirancy :)

Another great day of photos and attractions :goodvibes
