Please be aware that there is at least one ticket window and one Guest Relations Window open outside of each Park entrance at least 30 minutes prior to the first Guest being allowed through the turnstiles. And this takes into consideration both Morning EMH as well as pre-opening dining reservations. So this is at least 45 minutes bvefore rope drop.

Just get to a Park entrance early your first morning and get the tickets there.

As already stated above, it's HIGHLY unlikely that will happen due to the propensity of the rest of the family to sleep in. They tend to bare their claws and question my parentage when they are awakened before, oh say, 8:30.

"Lobby Concierge" is just Disney's term for Resort Guest Relations. they are at all the Resorts and they are available 24/7 as they are just an extension of the Front Desk.

So, I can still use them to buy tickets even if not staying there? Will I get any guff from security when entering the parking lot of a resort at say, 11 pm to make this transaction?

UPDATE: Called one more time to the 877 number and reached Cheryl, a wonderful CM who managed to combine all those cards into one both cheerfully and efficiently. An absolute angel.

Afterward, I made a point to speak to her supervisor, Kitty. Kitty told me the secret to making the process work is to call M-F before 8 to reach a CM. After hours, and on weekends, the calls are outsourced, and those folks have no ability to combine cards. Furthermore, this isn't something they are supposed to actually do in the first place, but the CMs will perform this function as a courtesy when call volume is not overwhelming.

After providing effusive words of praise, I hung up and called DRC. We now have park tickets on the way. Finally!

Well again, maybe somebody can learn from my experience. Special thanks to the poster who suggested the repeat calls to the gift card center.

total side note but to avoid the multiple gift card frustration, Giant Eagle now sells 100 and 500 demoninations. I was THIRLLED b/c last year I looked like a black jack dealer with this huge stack of 50.00 gift cards. This year I bought 4 500 ones and saved about 220 on free case and only 4 cards to deal with.

I think they actually refund the original cards, so if you do try this, be sure to hang onto them just in case.

When I made a purchase after Christmas the sales assco. made a point of telling me to keep the gift card I used in the event I needed to return it. I had never been told that before.

I did the cards for gas credit also and I have a deck drawer lined with cards because WDW is so into returning your money exactly how you gave it to them. Good Luck
