Cause I know you will understand

Our friends took it well and have seemed to drop the idea of trying to go with us so that is a relief.

Maybe we will keep our next trip a secret so they don't ask to go on that one too. If I thought they would enjoy it more, I would be more receptive to the idea but they aren't Disney people so I feel like it's wasted points.

I wouldn't feel obligated to use your points. If they want to come, they can pay for their own room.

I'm confused on how this conversation would work. Are you saying that when you mention that you are going on vacation, your fear your friends will invite themselves along AND expect you to pick up their room? I can't even imagine how that conversation would go.

My in-laws changed their minds 3 times leading up to our trip in August about who would be there for each day necessitating that I change ADRs each time. They also didn't book their flights until less than 30 days before the trip (for their son's wedding!) so I feel your pain. Unfortunately I didn't have the option of leaving them behind...

If they want to go let them call Disney and get their own room. You can meet them if they show up.

:earsboy: Bill

always the easiest and best for everyone....each party gets their own flights, rooms, tickets etc. You can still coordinate

It's easy to change your mind when someone else has to deal with the resulting issues!

I've had ppl try to invite themselves on our trips.

I just tell them there's a broker site renting points and they can get rooms for btwn 150-300 per night, far cheaper than the $300-600 per night the resort is charging.

They don't ask again. Lol
