Cat's meow

I'll start off by saying I am not a collector. My mom and MIL both collect. Are there any Cat's Meows of any of the Disney buildings? If so what stores at Disney would I be able to find them? I just thought this would be a great to give them instead of the something else Disney they may never use.

No, I am 99% sure that they do not do Disney buildings. There is a whole process they have to go through to get approval to do a building or landmark. Perhaps they have tried and Disney wouldn't give them permission, or perhaps they haven't tried, but I am almost sure they don't have them. If you go to the Cat's Meow website you can see what they have. They do have some Florida landmarks but I have never seen them for sale at WDW.

I have a castle from Disney World that is like a Cat's Meow but I got it several years ago. I never saw any other building. I got it in the shop in the bottom of the castle. I would love the other 3 landmarks for my collection.

A cat's meow is a flat piece of wood carved and painted into the shape of a house. Everyone has a little black cat on it. They are in the shape famous houses and lighthouses. I was just at a Bed and Breakfast in Cape May NJ and the historic house we stayed in had one made into a copy of the house. They are only about an inch thick so they can go on wide window molding. We have they above the windows in several rooms in the house.

It's also a very popular bar here on Bourbon Street, home to some famous and not-so-famous (tops optional ) karaoke!!

I was an avid collector for years. I have over 75, but haven't purchased any in years. I would LOVE to have the castle or other Disney landmarks.....but I'm not holding my breath. I agree with other that it must be a licensing thing.
