Cats and laser pointers

My 2 cats go nuts over it! They chase it everywhere. This could keep them and me busy for hours!

My dad did this to my boston terrier and my hubby got so ticked because he didn't want him to be crazy. Now our dog chases any shadow it sees, but I think all animals do that!

I get my laser pointers from the dollar store.

I love just being able to sit in place & have my kitty doing all the chasing.

It always seemed to make my cats very nervous. They didn't seem to be having much fun, so I won't let anyone do it with them.

My dog chases the red dot-it is so funny, but he becomes easily bored with it now. Perhaps he is finally catching on!

Oh, my two just love it!! They go nuts. It's funny to watch, but i have to admit that I feel a little guilty teasing them with something I know they'll never be able to catch!

FAIRYS! That's what we tell the kitties they're chasing. We usually end the play by running the laser pointer's light under the couch. But I'll be damned if the don't hear the sound of the keychain portion and come running wanting to chase the light some more. Some of the best money I ever spent!

I use flashlights with my cats sometimes, but they go so crazy that I'm always afraid they'll hurt themselves banging into a wall or a piece of furniture!

I should get one for my cat. We used to do this all the time with my parents cats. I've never seen a cat jump so high! I'd love to see how my cat deals with it. Somehow, I doubt she'd care.

My cat likes to chase the laser light but gets bored with it quickly. To keep him truly entertained i put a ball in the (empty) bath tub. He'll play in the bath tub for a LONG time! Cat's are so silly!
