My body was really fighting this morning – did not want to get up, but as the kids were up, I had to make an appearance!!!
Got up to find that one of the girls - Olivia, had been transformed into Jasmine overnight!!!!!

Quick breakie before getting into the pool for a bit. My feet were itching to get some shopping done! I was having serious withdrawal!!! So around 11 it was off to Florida Mall. Park outside JC Penney, and head in through that way. First stop was KB Toys!! Yankee Candle Company was my main aim today. They have a new candle – Granny Smith. Lovely green apple smell. I spend around $50 here. Rolling eyes of disapproval from Tony!! Pottery Barn is another favourite. Picked up a few bargains here – wine carrier, reduced from $40 to $10. Ok, it’s huge, no idea how I’ll pack it….but it was a bargain!!! :teeth: We had something from Subway for lunch here before we have another browse. Left at 4pm and made our way to Premium Outlets. Mainly just looked in Adidas and Nike shops before we make our way back to the villa for a rest. Have a sit down for about half an hour. Really makes you feel a lot better doing that.

Off to The Beach Club for Cape May Café. I was really excited about this. We check in and are shown our table straight away. Our server is May. At first I think the paper table cover looks a bit odd, then I rethink, when she hands the kids crayons. Great idea!!! She tells us everything on the buffet, tells us to ‘go right ahead and start!’ There was the fishy section – which had cod and chips!, clams, mussels, shrimp, and there was also prime rib, chicken, ribs, potatoes, pasta, salads, soups – Chowder and Lobster Bisque, vegetables. Tony says the Clam Chowder was outstanding. Kids had Mac n cheese, hot dogs, chicken strips. They ate very well here. They also had some adult food – fish and chips and some potatoes!!!.

Dessert bar was very tempting. I had key Lime Pie, Chocolate Mousse oreo Cookie thingy, cheesecake and brownie. I also had a Danish!!! Kids had cupcakes and cookies. Bill came to $76 before tip. At the time I said that it was the best meal so far of the trip. Now retrospectively I’d say it is THE best meal we’ve ever had at WDW. The prime rib was fab, and the cod was very tasty too!! The best food and the best service. It was faultless. I had no qualms in leaving May the change out of $100 as a tip – she was very attentive. We rolled out of Cape May and stood looking out over Boardwalk for a bit. It was just at that stage of the evening where it’s beginning to get dark. The kids run around in the sand for a bit – and we have a seat on some loungers. It really can’t get any better than this!!!!

It’s quite romantic really…………….. but then I’m brought swiftly down to earth when Christopher kicks sand in my face. Ok, that’ll be time to go then! Homeward bound with Christopher in the bad books, it’s our turn for the grocery shop – so we stop at Publix on the way home. I like Publix - 1.5 litre Sutter Home White Zinfandel $7. I’ll have one of those!!! More Pringles, as were are going through them at the rate of 3 tubes per day!!! Bread, milk – the usual boring stuff!!!
We get home – kids head to bed. No Benny. Tonight we have a new game to play, no nothing to do with throwing in your car keys!!!!!! Someone has bought Pringles Prints with Trivial Pursuit!!! Great excitement as we gather round. The tube gets passed round as everyone has a turn at reading out some questions. Trouble is, who eats Pringles one at a time????? :teeth: The questions appear to have varying degrees of difficulty – ranging from the unbelievable easy to the ‘more difficult’. It’s only later we discover that the questions are in fact from JUNIOR Trivial Pursuit. :rolleyes1 This of course causes great hilarity in the house and we decide to stick to Benny from now on. :rotfl2:

Tomorrow on the agenda, we have IOA again – Spiderman breakfast, and one family has Discovery Cove!!!!

Now thats my kind of day, shopping and great food :flower: Cape May sounds like something my lot would enjoy and will be on my PS list for next time. Thanks for another top report. BTW, Olivia looks much prettier than the WDW Jasmine, just gorgeous and so happy too!

Now those desserts look absolutely delish!!! Yumtastic!

I've still never been to Orlando Premium Outlets - I really must rectify that in August!

Another great day - gotta love the shopping :Pinkbounc The buffet you had sounds quite nice - I hadn't really considered it as neither hubby or I are mad about fish.

We were supposed to go to Cape May for the clambake but changed our minds...:(

Those photos are brilliant of the boardwalk, really makes you want to go back.

Looks like we'll have to add Cape May to our list for next time :goodvibes

Another great report :wave2:

Cath ~ Lady after my own heart, shopping and then seafood.

Another great day.

Thanks Cath, I am looking forward to going to the Premium Outlets. Is it quite a big centre? I imagine it the size of one of Belz's Malls.

Its arranged in a sort of cross shape so its easy to walk around without getting lost, and it doesn't matter too much where you park (but if you know you're going to get a lot at , say, Ralph lauren then obviously park near there :goodvibes )

I'd say the whole thing is maybe the size of Lakeside but on one level (with a good food court in the middle)

Happy shopping :cool1: :flower:
