Another trip to IOA today. Didnt plan to stay all day as this was our second visit. Hopefully get to Belz afterwards and then we were all meeting at 6pm in Sweet Tomatoes for dinner.
So very early start PS at Confisco Grill for the Spiderman Breakfast, 9am - we left at 8am. Arrived at Confisco Grill at 9am on the dot and we went inside. It was not busy at all, which surprised me. The characters were Spiderman, Cat in the Hat and Thing 1 and Thing 2. I thought there would have been more Marvel Heroes here, like the X-Men. The food was buffet style with sausage, bacon, scrambled eggs, french toast, breakfast potatoes, fruit, pastries and muffins. I thought a very limited choice. No pancakes!!! Quality was ok. Character interaction was good though especially Spiderman, who did actually talk.
Ok, once we were fed it was time for some rides. We get some Express Passes for Spiderman later one and then head for Jurassic Park River Adventure kids are keen to go on again! So, we all go on. Christopher immediately regrets it and is beginning to worry about the big fall at the end.
We all come off in one piece, and agree to make Toon Lagoon our next stop the barges again!!! Tony and Christopher decide to stand this one out but Anthony is desperate to ride, so I need to take him on!! O wait time for this we get drenched again and immediately go back on again for more punishment!!!! We stand in the sunshine and try to dry off a bit. There is a bit of a breeze today, so it is a good day for drying as my mother would say!!!!! Time for our express passes for Spiderman. Kids get to meet Storm and Cyclops outside!!!
Time for some Dr Seuss now. One fish two fish and Cat in the Hat all with 15 minutes or less waiting time!!! Into Circus mcGurkas for a drink and snack to keep us going till Sweet Tomatoes tonight. Cookies and brownies for the boys and Strawberry Shortcake thingy for the girls!!!! In need of some retail therapy so we head for the shops at Port of Entry. After a few purchases are made, we decide to have alook in Belz. We get into the car, exit the car park, and take the wrong turning, ending up on I4!!! Eventually get off, and have to drive all the way back up International Drive!! We reach Belz, but we dont have very long before we need to meet the others in Sweet Tomatoes. We get the kids trainers in Reebok, and I get my niece some lovely ballet stuff in Danskin all very reasonable. Time for Sweet Tomatoes. As always it didnt disappoint fantastic selection of salads, pasta, soups and lovely muffins. The French Onion soup and the Chicken Noodle soup are fantastic. I made up my own dessert called Caths muffin explosion. I got a blueberry muffin, and then top it with lovely ice-cream, then the caramel sauce and the toffee chips. We all ate quite a lot here and its so reasonable. We were here for around 2 hours by the time everyone arrived and had eaten. It was really busy by then too!!!
Home to the villa. Kids into bed, and just enough time for a game of Benny before he hit the sack ourselves!!

Sweet Tomatoes sounds really really good, must add that to my list of restaurants to try!
