Where I live that is possible.
I have had family/ friends getting married in Catholic church:
- with a non-catholic priest (not sure whether a Catholic priest was present or not)
- with a non-catholic partner
- with a partner who is divorced
They sometimes even perform services for gay couples (gay marriage is legal here). I guess in the church's "accounting" this is not "legal" as a marriage, but for the people's mind it is. And we have to get married at the city hall first anyway, Catholic wedding is something optional, I don't think it has any legal "power".
