Catered Thanksgiving meal?????

Has anyone ever had a holiday meal catered on-site and delivered(or picked up) to your villa?

We are staying at OKW for the first time at Thanksgiving and thought that might be an alternative to the restaurants and cooking!

will you have a car - if you do - then I would drive to the Publix (you need to do so on Wednesday before THanksgiving) - you need to place the order a few days before.

I have purchased Grocery Store Thanksgiving dinners a couple of times here at home. The food is good, the price is right (considering all the little things you would have to pick up), the clean up is a cinch, and you get to spend time with your family instead of working in the kitchen. I am not sure which stores have the dinners in Orlando, but you might want to check out their flyers via internet and then decide which one sounds the best. I would highly recommend the dinners. Tell ya what we did this past Thanksgiving ... we used the Cracker Barrel in Kissimmee. We went on the Cracker Barrel website, and placed an order ... turkey, ham, four veggies, dressing, corn bread, biscuits. We fed six of us for about $50, and it was better than what we could have whipped up on our own.

Worked for us, but we did have to go pick it up.

Both Publix and Winn Dixie have holiday specials - full meals - turkey and all the trimmings for a reasonable price. We have gotten Publix for Christmas at OKW and the food was quite good.
