Category Recommendations

Hi! We are a family of four adults. (Kids are ages 27 and 30). Have been to Disney many times, but have never been on a cruise. Any category recommendations would be appreciated! Also, would you recommend 2 rooms or 1? Thanks!

Your room is really going to depend on how much privacy everyone is wanting...and how much time your planning on spending in the statroom....also budget. Of course two room will give you more room and more privacy...but will also cost more... I'd say if your looking at getting one room you may want to stick with a cat that has more square feet...than say a standard inside. We had a cat 8 (delux oceanview) on Deck 7 and loved it....but were a family of four (2 adults and 2 kids)...so it was a good size for the four of us... we also didn't spend much time in the room anyway. By getting a room with a verhanda...you'll have a little more space..and room to sit outside...and yes the verhanda's are big enough for four adults to be on at one time...but there is not seating out there for four. I think if I were you...I'd check and see what the cost for two rooms would be...By getting one room...you'd get the price break on the 3rd and 4th adult...where if you got two room...you wouldn't..everyone would pay full fare. Also think about how much time you'll spend in the room...we pretty much planned on sleeping and changing and showering in the room...and that's just what we did.

Have you looked through the DCL site...at the room layouts? If not you may want to.

The rooms that sleep 4 (cat 12 through 5) have a pull down bed in the ceiling. Is it big enough or strong enough to hold an adult???? There's no problem with my DW (she's tiny) fitting up there but I don't think that I could.

On the pull down bed has a weight limit of 220 lbs.
