We're booked on Magic October 9 (Western). We've been assigned room 2086. I've read that its only for 3 people--which shouldn't be a problem since we're 2 adults and 1 child.

But, can anyone tell me how this would differ from other category 9 rooms? Is it smaller? We want to be mid-ship and have tried to avoid "noisy" rooms. I there a reason we should ask for another assignment?

Thanks! :earsgirl: :earsgirl: pirate:

I believe that the room sizes are all the same for Cat 9 but there is probably no pull down bunk. That is the reason for only 3 ppl. I am pretty sure that is the only difference.

I believe some cat. 9 sleep 3 and some 4, but all are 214 sq. ft. Our family had 5 cat. 9 cabins on deck 2 and loved them!! Each of our cabins had pull down bunk and slept 4. They were aft (2122 area) and were not noisy. Enjoy the huge porthole!
