1st time cruiser trying to narrow down both when to cruise and what type of cabin to book (obstructed porthole category 10 rooms, if available or a category 7.

Has anyone stayed in both, or has recommendations on a particular deck/cabin for Category 7. Room #6136 is available under Category #7, is this an "open verandah" or the regular Category #7?

Hi there, we have never stayed in either, but if you go to the sticky's on top of this board, there is one with stateroom reports, and you can look up reports people have made with their staterooms... I see yours is not there, but the one next to it is...Very informative..

I have stayed on decks 2, 6, and 7..and love 6 and 7...Either deck is great, two decks down to the kids clubs on seven, two up to the pools, obviously one more or less for deck 6, and less motion felt the higher up..
