Category 7 or Category 6

This is my very first post on these boards>
We are planning a cruise in April and can't decide between a Cat. 7 or Cat 6 room.
I know the difference is a reg. verandah or navigator's. I am not clear on what a nav. Var. is. Is it an enclosed porch with window for light, or do you get fresh air.
I really am stuck on this one. So if any one has an opion, great.
Also is it better to stay on a deck that is all staterooms or the deck where the children's clubs are, I would think that is a noisy deck?

First off, if you are more than 3 people, the navigators veranda will not accomidate you.
We had a navigator for our 2nd cruise and loved it. It is the same size as the regular verandas except that it is enclosed but with a huge open hole. It has a table, chair and padded bench. We enjoyed it because you could sit out and not be windblown.We also liked the aft location.
Our next cruise we are taking our kids and must get a cat. 6 otherwise we would get a 7 again.

We have been very happy with the cat 6 verandah cabins on Deck 5. Deck 5 is very quiet because most of the deck is dedicated to the kids clubs. I like the fact that there are not many people walking down the halls because there are not that many cabins. Also, it is a very convenient location if you have kids - being so close to the clubs....

We've had both and I prefer the Navigator's Veranda because they are partially enclosed. The opening is quite large, you get plenty of air, and a little more privacy than a regular veranda. I think what makes it for me is the decoration - wood trip, wood chair, padded bench. Just has a much cozier feel. As surfergirl pointed out however these will only hold 3, not 4.
