I just booked rooms 6502 and 6504 thinking that they were secret porthole rooms come to find out that they are not. Does anyone know why these rooms are on the outside of the ship and are priced as an inside room? Should I change it??

They are Inside Staterooms because they do not have any portholes, even though they are an outside corridor of the ship...confusing, I know. :)

They only "secret porthole" rooms that actually have an obstructed view porthole are the Cat. 10 Deluxe Inside Staterooms on Deck 5.

Thanks for the info. You woudl have thought that the Disney Cruiseline Rep would have corrected me when I said that I wanted the one with a partially obstructed view. Oh well, I will call them tomorrow and change again!

Secret porthole rooms are deck 5 bow. They are blocked by lifeboats.

the disney rep did the same thing to us for our December cruise now we are trying to change! Asked for recommendations but havn't heard from anyone!

I am glad that I am not the only one that happened to. Looks are very decieving. We opted to just keep those rooms (Cat. 11) and forgo the view. This way we can all remain together.

We don't know where to put ourselves, time is running out and cabins are going.

I didn't want to be on deck 2 but I think I will have to be! Any suggestions? We have to put our deposit today!
