How tight will category 11 be with 2 adults, a 3 year old and a 1 year old in a pack and play? Would the 10 be that much better, to be honest I like the location of the 11's better and don't care about the split bath. Are the sofa beds the same as they are in the 10's on up?

Thanks,

Thanks,

I have been in Cat 5 and 6's and my mom was in a Cat 11 and the only difference I saw inside was the split bathroom and balcony but the other part to me seemed the same. So I think you will be just fine.:) I would think the sofa beds would be the same.:)

The only difference in size is due to the split bath...not floor space in the room itself.

NOW, the split bath MAY be what you really want to consider, as there are four people. Someone can have access to the toilet/grooming/shaving area while others are having baths and showers. (The tub is realy only bath size for kids or small adults.)

The only way you get more floor space is to move up to a Cat 4 (or a suite).

I actually prefer the Cat 11's for their location also (deck 7 aft fan here).

We were in a Cat 11, 2 adults a 4 year old and 10 month old in a pack and play. It was fine. Like the others said the bathroom is small but worked fine for us. The stateroom attendant can put both nightstands together and push the bed against the wall so that the pack and play can go next to the bed. We also had them pull out the "coffee" table. This gave us more room to walk around and get the stroller in and out. The sofa bed was great. Each night they made it into a bed (and you can request a railing) and then back to sofa in the morning. Hope that helps. If I could figure out how to post a picture I have one of the room with the pack and play.

As above, the only difference is the split bath vs. the single bath. Now...reality...the kids can't be in the bathroom without an adult. So the real question is how grumpy dad will be without his own bathroom. I don't think it will be an issue for you. If it is, he can shower in the locker room of the fitness center!
