We are considering two adjoining category 10 for our trip. We have three kids who will be 9, 6 and 4. DH and I love our time with our kids, but also need our time. Anyone gone this route yet? Any suggestions?

Definitely try for the adjoining secret porthole rooms (5522/24 or 5022/24). You will love the "free" porthole. If you haven't seen them, I have photos on my website at www.castawayclub.com

We are a family of 5. In our opinion, this is definitely preferable over getting a cat 4 cabin (the lowest category that accommodates 5). This is how we reserved it for our next cruise. Although a verandah would be nice, but the extra space and the extra bathroom are difficult to beat. Plus, we now have the flexibility of adding another person or two (nanny, parent, etc.) at a child's rate.
