Anyone have experience of rush hour traffic from the Disneyland Resort to LAX on a Friday? How much time should we allow? Getting to the airport 90 mins before our flight + travel time. We're talking the middle of Sept. And should we use a taxi or bus transportation? Thanks for any suggestions.

I always catch an 8pm flight home and i usually take the Disneyland Express at 4pm-ish? I could get away w/5pm but I think it could cut too close...especially since for some reason TSA Pre-Check hasn't been open at Terminal 6. Drives. Me. Nuts.

My transatlantic on 1 July was at 8pm on Friday 1 July 2016. I used supershuttle and my pick up time was between 3.30pm and 3.45pm. We arrived at LAX Terminal 2 just after 5pm. The traffic to LAX was ok, but once we got there there was huge traffic congestion into Terminal 1 departure level which ment all Terminals were affected. Our driver dropped us at the arrival level which was still congested but not near as bad.

I pass LAX on my way home and there's no way I'd leave the DLR area between 3pm and 6pm. Also, 90 minutes is not enough time to make a flight at LAX. No shuttle company would drop you off at 90 minutes. I'd aim to be at LAX by 6pm, but at the same time, I'd rather leave at 3pm and have it take an hour vs. leave at 4:30 pm and sit in traffic longer. If you're driving, find something to do in the LAX area, like In n Out, Randy's Donuts or a quick drive by the beach.

For LAX I am walking in that door 2+ hours before my domestic flight. Absolutely.
