Was it that after the final cut that producers realized they had 5 minutes to fill and threw in last years' Festival of the Lion King performance? Or was it a shameless cost savings measure? Ok, so I'll give them a mulligan on that one, but then what do they do???--They show a another rerun of the Disneyland Parade of Dreams "Welcome to our Family" segment. Are you kidding me?
Watched both last year's and this year's performance and sure enough they matched perfectly even down to the cute little old lady in the Santa hat watching from Main Street.
This years version was definately the poorest in several years. Save the Make-a-Wish segment, the CM segment about making dreams come true and a few of the park attraction segments, the production was average at best.
C'mon Disney, we love the company because it doesn't settle for average. Why give your fans a mediocore Christmas Parade? Or does this just fall in line with the Year of a Million Dreams aka fill in the gap promotion?
