I am thinking of booking the catarmaran excurison in nassau but am wondering how this is with children. I have 3 children the youngest 5 the oldest 10. This might be fun but am worried about the 5 year old. Can he stay on the boat if he is scared? Also how much movement is involved with the boat as far as possible sea sickness. Thanks pirate:

We have done this and had a great time. I believe someone in our group had a little one that didn't want to go in. They just had him sit on the boat. You will be provided life vest so if he wants, he can just float. I think I also remember my nephew using a noodle they had.

This is a great opportunity for new snorkels. Your little one might really love seeing all the beautiful fish.

I get very seasick and I was absolutely fine.

There is a net on the catamaran. Sit here, the kids loved sitting in/on the net while we adults sat around it with our feet resting on the net.

I took both my kids, ages 8 & 4 at the time, on a catamaran last year on St Maarten (not a DCL excursion - just a vacation on our own.) They still talk about it. They had a blast. There was seating on a bench for them, but they managed to come up front with us - adults nearby. They loved to sit on the rope and watch the waves under them! We are planning to do the catamaran next month on our cruise - kids will be 9 & 5 and we can't wait!!!!
